RIP Howie Schwab - A Legend In The Sports World And Star Of The Great Show 'Stump The Schwab'

Oh man, Howie Schwab is a legend in the sports world. Whether it was doing brackets, breaking down facts, helping out Dick Vitale or being the star of Stump the Schwab. That will always, always be one of my favorite shows. It was perfect for sports nerds. Just watching people answer questions about sports and then try to beat this genius at the end. 

Man, seeing that video with Stuart Scott hosting it too. Two icons. From what everyone has said, Howie was the nicest man in the business too. Just reading through a lot of the tweets talking about him and everyone saying the same thing. He was known for being Dickie V's right hand man too. He was always there to help him out and there are plenty of stories out there of Dickie V and Howie hanging out. They were close friends as Dickie says in his tweet breaking the news.

Back to Stump the Schwab though, what a perfect idea for a show. He was the hero for sports nerds everywhere out there during that two year run on the show. Sitting at home, trying to play along or just sitting in awe of how smart this guy was. We need ESPN to run all the episodes again in honor or Howie Schwab.
