'Competitors Compete' - Tom Thibodeau Doesn't Give A Shit About Tanking, Isn't Going To Act Like A Loser And Duck Teams On Purpose

Do I care that guys like Donte played 50 minutes? Nope, not when I see Thibs out here talking about competition and refusing to duck teams. That's my coach! What's the point of hiding from the 76ers or Heat? You beat them, plain and simple. That's the only thing Thibs knows. He knows how to coach defense and how to not tank. You think THIS guy is going to sit his players in the 4th quarter and pretend like he doesn't care about losing? Yeah, okay. 

Also why would the Knicks be scared? We have a legit MVP candidate in Jalen Brunson. Let's do some Jalen Brunson stats. 

That'll do! Not to mention he's done this all without Julius Randle. You can keep trying to discredit anything Brunson does, but he's an All-NBA, MVP candidate superstar. That's just a fact. The Knicks could have tanked the 4th quarter/OT and been the 3 seed, play the Pacers and still have homecourt. You know what they did instead?

They won. Because competitors compete. They don't believe in tanking. That's not what the Knicks do, especially considering all the years we did tank it meant nothing. You gotta beat good teams in the playoffs, there I said it. You don't get to play the Pistons or Wizards. Thibs should be confident. 50 wins, Jalen Brunson, the rest of the Nova crew. Times are good at MSG. Not to mention we get to play at home.
