Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler Is OFFICIAL For June 29th

BOOOOOOM! Surprise, surprise - THE KING IS BACK!

Just when you thought you'd heard the last of me tonight - Dana White goes and announces that Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler is OFFICIAL for International Fight Week on June 29th, at 170lbs!

Not only that, but Dana made Islam Makhachev vs Dustin Poirier for the Lightweight Championship official for UFC 302 in Newark, as well as Sean Strickland vs Paulo Costa as a five-round co-main event at 302! Announcements on announcements on announcements! Every one of those fights is a banger, too!

Dana also confirmed that the fight came together today, so he wasn't technically lying to me last night at Power Slap….

Hopefully this kicks off an active year for the Champ Champ. I know he wants to beat Chandler and turn around by September to fight Nate Diaz at the Sphere, and Diaz is in on that too….

That's a trilogy everyone would want to see completed based on the pre-fight trash talk alone. If both guys are down and availible, they gotta make it happen.

What a weekend for the UFC, huh? They had just about every headline in the business before this, but these fight announcements on top of that 300 card?! Insane.
