Bo Nickal Is Who We Thought He Is - Picks Up Easy Win To Kick Off The UFC 300 PPV

Welp - that went about as we expected it to! Cody Brundage lasted a little longer than most people thought, and took Bo Nickal into the second round for the first time in his career, but there was pretty much never a doubt in that one.

Bo's takedowns and grappling pressure are just relentless, and seemingly impossible to shut down. You could delay his success in that department, but if you don't knock him out quick, you're only delaying the inevitable. Still, though, after an incredibly dominant performance where Brundage had virtually zero moments of hope whatsoever, Nickal was disappointed in his performance. He even booed himself and did a double thumbs down after the fight; putting the ol' "own worst critic" trope to good use tonight!
