One Of Us: Jon Rahm Claims He Blacked Out From Nerves During His Champions Dinner Speech, Feast Looked Like It Lived Up To The Hype

There are very few relatable things when it comes to Jon Rahm outside of sometimes having a temper on the course. But blacking out as you give a speech from nerves is something we've all experienced. I don't care how prepped you are, how much you don't care about what others think, etc. The moment you start talking and looking out at everyone you're going to black out for a second. Think about looking out at this crowd.

Sergio pushed out to the fucking hallway has me laughing. Dude is hanging on for deal life to be in the picture. Then you get Phil, who was there for the party. Look at that face! We know that face!

Then you have Spieth wearing the purple shirt and tie. Don't love that look if we're being honest, but I'm far from a fashion guy. Just saying it looks weird compared to everyone else. Full beard Scottie still scares me. My point being how do you stand up, give a speech and you're looking out at Tiger judging you, staring daggers? Good luck. I'd black out the moment I said hello.

Oh and the dinner? This feast is elite.

I'm salivating looking at that video. I'm also now salivating about a couple years ago when I was lucky enough to be at the Masters on Wednesday and just housed pimento cheese sandwiches.

Reminder though, this is Rahm's menu:

It's right below Hideki's but it's still elite. Gonna be hard to top this one:

Lesson as always is simple. Talking in front of a group of people sucks. Doesn't matter if you're one of the best golfers in the world or some mid-level project manager. It all sucks. You gotta sit there and say thank you for coming all that stuff and then get ready to beat some of the asses in the room.
