The UConn Huskies Use Social Media Negativity As A Form Of Motivation As They Continue To Destroy Teams In The NCAA Tournament

On today's Pardon My Take... DAN HURLEY! The Head Coach of the defending champion Connecticut Huskies joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter on today's show to discuss UConn's dominant run thus far, new things to get mad at, why he doesn't give Andrew Hurley more minutes, and tons more.

It is no secret that Dan Hurley is one of the most electric personalities in all of college basketball. His energy and passion on the sidelines is very entertaining, and clearly, his coaching style works. All he wants to do is win. And over the last two NCAA Tournaments, all he has done is win. So, as the overwhelming favorites in this year's tournament, there has to be some fresh ways to try and motivate his Huskies, right?

That brings us to social media, where as we all know, things can get very toxic very quickly. But instead of seeing that as a negative, Coach Hurley and company use that as motivation to pump his Huskies up. Take a look...

Coach Hurley said on today's show that the burner accounts don't bother him. In fact, what "HuskyHater69" or "UconnStinks420" are saying anonymously could actually be doing the Connecticut Huskies a favor. Having members of his staff pull these posts up and present them to his team is a fantastic way to motivate this squad that has already accomplished so much.

But now, the Huskies are two wins away from even more history. They are two wins away from being the first team since the 2006-2007 Florida Gators to repeat as champions in the most glorious sporting event that we have.

See you in Phoenix, UConn.
