Here's Everything New On Prime In April, Including 'Fallout' & 'The Holdovers'

 1. Fallout

In a future, post-apocalyptic Los Angeles brought about by nuclear decimation, citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants and bandits.

Fallout is one of my favorite games ever, particularly New Vegas. As with any RPG where the players choices influence the story, I was a little unsure of how an adaptation could work. That said, the trailers have been great, Walton Goggins looks incredible as always and the crew is very promising. The creator is Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Tomb Raider) and is written by her + Graham Wagner(Silicon Valley). It's also being produced by Jonathan Nolan's(Westworld, also helped write most of his brothers movies) production company. Nolan is also directed the first 3 episodes.

2. The Holdovers

A cranky history teacher at a prep school is forced to remain on campus over the holidays with a grieving cook and a troubled student who has no place to go.

This movie got a ton of oscar love and rightfully so. It's a fun movie with some great dramatic scenes sprinkled in. Gotta love a little Giamatti in your life.

3. Snatch

Unscrupulous boxing promoters, violent bookmakers, a Russian gangster, incompetent amateur robbers and supposedly Jewish jewelers fight to track down a priceless stolen diamond.

Any and every Guy Ritchie crime-comedy movie is worth watching. There aren't many directors that own a genre of film quite like he does.
