Party Favors That Suck: YouTuber Supplies Entire Party With Snake Venom

SKY News- Indian YouTuber Elvish Yadav has been arrested for allegedly supplying snake venom to be used as a recreational drug at raves.

The influencer, who has 15 million YouTube subscribers, was detained under the Wildlife Act, according to Indian broadcaster NDTV. 

A party he was at in November was raided on the suspicion that snake venom was being used as a drug by partygoers.

Police launched an investigation and questioned five people on suspicion of snake smuggling, who named Yadav as the alleged organiser of the parties and snake venom supply.

The old rule is bring something to the party. Like a case of High Noons, a tray of pretzels, a dessert etc. The rule of thumb is not to bring snake venom. I thought I was up to date with party etiquette but clearly I'm out of the loop as snake venom is now the go to on party favors.

No I'm sorry I can't get behind this, nor can I figure this out. What the fuck kind of party needs snake venom? What the fuck do you do with snake venom? Why? Why? Why? 

Is this some kind of rich people shit I'm not meant to understand? Please help me out. What happened to old school parties like bringing a speaker, a keg, a sandwich, maybe the occasional coke. Is that too normal to ask for? Absolutely baffling story here, and I'm afraid to admit I want to know more, but I also don't ever want to think about this again. I guess that's the battle when you party with Youtubers.
