Tai Tuivasa Gets Choked Out In UFC Vegas 88 Main Event - Dropping To 0-4 In His Last 4

This blog pains me to write (even more than the last three Tai Tuivasa loss blogs), because the fan favorite heavyweight from down undah just got choked out by Marcin Tybura in the first round of tonight's UFC main event, dropping to 0-4 in his last 4 fights.
Granted, the losses are to a pretty good crop of talent, and Tai had his moments in almost every fight (including this one)....
….but that's a rough skid for any fighter in combat sports. It doesn't mean it's over for Tai, or that he's washed - I think there's still PLENTY of UFC Heavyweights he would dismantle - but these are certainly the dark times for 'Bam Bam' fans.
Congrats to Marcin Tybura, though. It wasn't the greatest card tonight - but I'd rather these fights than no fights.
Oh, and Dana - please get my boy Tai Tuivasa a tomato can to knock out ASAP. We need this guy back.

P.S. I got a big ol' bottle of New Amsterdam Vodka this weekend to potentially mix into a celebratory shoey if Tai scored a big knockout, just as a little jokey Twitter video - and that is now the saddest bottle of alcohol in my fridge.
(Still the best vodka on the planet, love you New Amsterdam!)
