Former Batman Villains Arnold Schwarzenegger & Danny DeVito Yelling At Michael Keaton Was The Best Part Of The Oscars

Alright - I'll admit it, that headline is a classic piece of hyperbole here on Barstool Sports dot com. The real best part of the Oscars last night was obviously Al Pacino being trotted out on stage just minutes after being awoken from a nap to mumble, "My eyes see Oppenheimer?" into a microphone to announce the biggest award of the night. That was fucking hysterical.

The SECOND best part of the night, however, was this bit between "Twins" co-stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito - which quickly turned into a segment about both actors being former Batman villains. Just in case you've been living under a rock for the past 30 years, DeVito played Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin in 'Batman Returns', and Arnold Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze in 'Batman & Robin' - which got a surprisingly big pop among The Academy.

They joked about how Batman defeated each of them, and then pointed out the fact that the Caped Crusader was sitting right there, in the crowd - and the camera cut to Michael Keaton, who snapped right into Batman mode....

Keaton wasn't actually Schwarzenegger's Batman - that would be George Clooney - but we'll ignore that for the sake of the gag.

That "Bring it on" gesture from Michael Keaton was the best. Just a perfect Oscars bit right there.
