I've Seen Enough, Jackson Holliday Is A Star And Needs To Be In Baltimore On Opening Day

Close the books folks, I've seen enough. Jackson Holliday, the #1 prospect in baseball should 100% be in Baltimore on Opening Day playing second base for America's Baltimore Orioles.

What else does this kid need to do? All he showed this afternoon was that he can hit a grand slam off an established MLB pitcher on a division rival, behind in the count 0-2 count, lefty on lefty. Not too bad for a 20 year old. Kid should be planning on where he's going to Spring Break, instead he's going yaya and pimping the hell out of it in spring training. I love the kid, I'm not afraid to say it. He'll win an MVP within 5 years, just wait.

So far this spring he's hitting .320 with 2 doubles, 2 triples, this grand slam, and 5 RBIs in 9 games. This isn't in mop up duty or against guys who are going to be working for an insurance company in a month, they're putting him in the lineup against legit MLB pitchers. 103 off the bat for Jackson and again, I don't know what more he needs to show Mike Elias and the Orioles to prove he belongs on the roster. His defense is good too, he hasn't been tested much this season but he's about as athletic as they come and hasn't missed a beat as a 20 year old playing against big leaguers.

And I get the service time thing, it sucks. You bring him up now and you risk losing a season of him in 2030 where he could realistically put up a WAR of like 8 and win an MVP. That is great, I love that. I don't give a shit about 2030 right now, I want to win in 2024. Jackson helps them do that right meow. He's ready. The second he stepped foot into camp he was one of the better players on a loaded Orioles roster. A lineup with him, Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Anthony Santander, Colton Cowser, Austin Hays, Jordan Westburg, Cedric Mullins, Heston Kjerstad, Coby Mayo....I mean do I need to keep going? I want to see Mike Elias put his nuts on the table and announce Jackson as your Opening Day second baseman. I need it. Baltimore would explode when he begins to trot down the orange carpet on March 28h.

20 years old and Jeff Passan is hyping him up with tweets like this? Yeah, he's starting on Opening Day. Welcome to Baltimore Jackson.
