'You'll Never Play Here' - Sean Miller Is The Latest College Hoops Coach To Wage War Against His Own Players And We Need This To Keep Happening

You want to make a point? This is it right here. Straight up calling guys out for not trying, saying they shouldn't play again, all that stuff. Good! Nobody should have a problem with that. We have this weird thing now where you can't make any negative comments towards college athletes. Miss a bunch of shots? It's the coach's fault for having them in the game or recruiting them. Make a simple mistake and get burnt defensively? Coach can't scheme worth shit. Sure, some of that can be true. It's a combination, but we've gone so far to one side of refusing to put any blame on college athletes for a game, we need this.

Miller is far from the first or last guy to do this. Hell, Rick Pitino led the charge a mere week ago. Mike Woodson tried to put blame on himself but instead said this

I'm not saying put every single blame on the players, but call them out when they need to be called out. Oh no, the horror of a coach who is a tough ass! Here's what I do know. I know Sean Miller will leave it all out on the floor. He will quite literally sweat through shirts so his nipples are showing to try and win a game.

That's so much fucking sweat. I also understand why Sean Miller has embraced the quarter zip life. No one wants to see a grown man sweat like that, even if we can relate. But Sean is doing this to prove a point. Not the sweating, the calling out guys. He wants people to fight their ass off because this Xavier team isn't that good. They lost 2 starters to injury all year. They've fallen apart late in the season here. He's trying to figure out who the hell is going to be in the rotation next year.

I'm not even some pro-coach guy. I think they bitch way too much about the transfer portal despite leaving for any job they can at the same time. They love to talk out of both sides of their mouth. They love to complain when anything gets hard for them and they aren't in complete control. What I am, is pro-personality. Pro-say whatever the hell is on your mind. I'm sick of the same stuff every single press conference and radio show. Give me a guy like Sean Miller or Rick Pitino who can stir up some shit. It's what made the Big East great back in the day. Coaches fought each other, they weren't afraid to say anything and they were the faces of college basketball.

God bless the Big East. Insane coaches, arguably more insane Twitter fanbase. It's college basketball perfection.
