Whatever It Takes: Rick Pitino Had To Bribe A Tailor In Order To Have His Awesome All White Suit Ready In Time To Save St. John's Season

This is the most on brand Rick Pitino has been in a long, long time. We know what happened yesterday. The man showed up wearing his all white suit. 

That man was made to wear that suit. He walks into the arena wearing that, you know you're fucked. But this is more than just beating Creighton and keeping your season alive. This is Pitino shutting anyone up who thought he may have lost a step in his age or being in Greece and at Iona. This was vintage Rick Pitino. A whole week of people blasting him for publicly calling out his team, former player (laughing) telling the story of Pitino threatening to slice him up and send him home. You only have one option. You show up looking like this. 

Oh and having to bribe a tailor? Should have just used his connections at the St. John's game to take care of business. 

It's only fitting that Pitino wore the white suit with Bobby Bacala and Sean Stellato in attendance. You can't be one-upped by Bacala or the green suit and hat. In fact next time we should let Pitino wear a white hat and really lean into the look. This is what St. John's needs though. Star power on a Sunday in their biggest game of the season. Embrace everything insane about that picture. This is who you are now. 

Now we need to know more though Pitino. Need to know how much he spent to make it worth the tailor's time. Did he send Bobby Bacala in there to make sure he knew he was dealing with Pitino? Also will he break something special out for the Big East Tournament? That's where St. John's will make or break their season. He needs to wear like an all-red suit or something like that to set the tone.
