Hofstra Just Nailed Their On Court Contest Literally Making It Rain Money On Two Contestants

You gotta love this. I was just at Hofstra for the first time last week to see Cooper Flagg in person. Wasn’t wowed by the arena. However,  they have NAILED their on court contests. I mean Nailed. 

There was a place on Staten Island growing up that kids had birthday parties at called Fun Bubble. If you were the birthday boy or girl there was a portion of the party where you went in a phone booth and collected dollar bills (fake) dropped on you or blown up via some kind of contraption with air and based on how much you collected you got a prize. Everyone cheered you on it was awesome. Thats exactly what I thought of when I saw this, just adults getting to live out there 8 year old dreams trying to collect dollar bills on the floor while not looking completely awkward and non athletic. Need more on court contests like this especially in the Mid Majors. Lower the hoops for a 7 foot slam dunk contest, have high level knockout, hell give us a Mikan Drill … but never forget the goat for hilarity will always be Tic Tac Toe
