Cross Promotion MMA Fights Are Coming - We're Finally Gonna Find Out If PFL Or Bellator Champs Are Better

When it was announced that the Professional Fighters League (PFL) would be acquiring Bellator a few months ago, a lot of us pretty much assumed they'd just take Bellator's roster and turn them into PFL fighters. Obviously, we were all excited for all of the new matchup possibilities, but confused about what this meant for Bellator champions - and then we quickly learned that Bellator would remain its own promotion with 8 events per year (AS WELL AS a big crossover event in Saudi Arabia)....

The crossover event, dubbed "PFL vs Bellator: The Battle of Champions" - goes down on February 24th, featuring four champ vs champ fights and eight showcase matchups; and we spoke to one of the biggest stars on the card ahead of his flight to Saudi last week....

Johnny Eblen is the man, and one of the most dominant middleweights in all of mixed martial arts at 14-0 professionally.

Eblen DESTROYED a legend in Gegard Mousasi to win the Bellator strap, and has defended the title twice since with no plans of stopping any time soon. We spoke to him about the Bellator/PFL merger, the upcoming fight he has with Impa Kasanganay, training at American Top Team among the best mixed martial artists in the world, and his eventual retirement - so check it out now if you'd like to learn a little more about Eblen. You'll be hearing his name in the MMA space constantly over the next few years. I guarantee that.
