Despite The Premiere Not Being Great, I Still Believe This Season Of Curb Will Deliver Exactly What We Want

I think I let me excitement of a new Curb season get the best of me last night because I didn't love the Season 12 premiere. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.

Despite all that, I know this will be a great season. Larry David, if you see this, I want you to know I am not complaining. I will fucking die for you and you are my favorite person in the entire world. But I wish a lot more of the main characters were involved to kick off the season. Jeff and Susie were in the show for one conversation and I have had enough of Maria Sophia. I need to see Ted Danson, Cheryl, Richard Lewis, and all the originals before the show goes away forever. 

Here are my quick takes from last night.

Positives: 

- There was still a lot of funny moments in the episode and the best story line was him and the maid. There are a lot of times where a maid in a hotel comes into your room, kind of judges your hotel room, and you can tell they think you are slob because of your clothes on the floor. Larry is right when you are in a hotel you want to dirty it with your clothes because you can't ever do that at home. 

- The tip flying into the toilet was just funny, and her throwing his clothes off the balcony was a very Curb moment. 

- Lastly Larry and Leon yelling at the dog calling him a fat fuck had me dying. Emotional support dogs are so stupid and talking shit to a dog will always be funny. 

Negatives: 

- The Brookie and Brooke storyline might have been the most confused I have been in a long time. Nobody calls someone a nickname like that ever and I understood the joke but that could have stopped 2 minutes into it. Come to think of it there wasn't so many negatives I think some bits just went on too long when you already got the joke. 

Anyway, the man is a genius and I feel like an asshole even critiquing him because I know these next episodes are going to be amazing. I think I need to control my excitement and not expect every episode to be incredible. I just hope the main characters are in it more in the next coming episodes and I will be happy.
