People Need To Realize That Taylor Swift Didn't Intentionally Ignore Celine Dion At The Grammys
Now, watching this video it does look super awkward and weird that Taylor Swift didn't acknowledge Celine Dion. It's one of those things where you would think she would do say something or hug her or something because 1. it's Celine FUCKING DION and 2. unfortunately Celine Dion is suffering from Stiff Persons Syndrome. So people have been raging online because it seemed like Taylor just brushed her off.
Here is my argument: TAYLOR JUST WON A GRAMMY!! A lot of people did not think she was gonna win in this category. In fact, as a HUGE Swiftie myself, I wasn't even sure she was gonna win! She is running around on stage celebrating, she clearly didn't even think about it in the moment.
Again, she just won a Grammy. But not only did she win a Grammy, she just became the artist with the most 'Album of the Year' wins. She has now surpassed Stevie Wonder, Frank Sinatra, and Paul Simon!!!
It is an incredible record to break. She was probably so overwhelmed. I know what you're thinking, too. It's Taylor Swift, she is probably used to this by now. Why would she be so overwhelmed when she has already won so many Grammys? Well, again she just broke an insane record and she is actually insanely humble.
Here she is, introducing herself to Coco Jones as if she doesn't already know who she is!!!! Taylor is incredibly sweet, and incredibly humble. She would never intentionally try to brush someone off.

Celine obviously did not take it personally. So the public shouldn't either! Also, Celine is suffering from "A rare autoimmune neurological disorder that most commonly causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms that come and go and can worsen over time". That is from Google. It is super sad, but Celine has been very open about it. If I was Taylor, I would be nervous to hug her! You don't wanna hurt her or cause her any pain. It's CELINE DION!!!
Either way, I'm tired of this narrative. Taylor Swift would never brush off Celine Dion on purpose. STOP PITTING WOMEN AGAINST WOMEN! Let Taylor enjoy her moment!
