Rick Pitino Is Complaining About NIL And The Tranfer Portal Because It Is Hard To Sustain A Team Even Though He Got Everyone On His Team From The Transfer Portal

You cannot just start having these excuses fly after you lose to Uconn and in February. I want to refresh everyones memory that St Johns had a ton of people who were on the team for awhile and when Rick came in he basically told all of them they should transfer. He kept one kid on the team who was also from the transfer portal the year before. I love Rick Pitino, I think what he has done in year one already with such a new team has been impressive as shit. Everyone thought they were going to suck and they have had sone really good wins this year and will be a bubble team come March.

But Rick we need to have a talk, you simply cannot complain about the NIL and transfer portal when first of all the team you just played lost players from a National Championship team and rebuilt with some players from the tranfer portal and is dominating. Also you bragged about the players you got and so did all of your fans. There is a reason why a lot of older coaches have stopped coaching in College Basketball because they couldn't adapt to the transfer portal and re recruiting kids on your team after the season. There is no doubt it is harder to do but dropping this excuse after losing at home to the #1 team in the country is sad and I expect better from Rick. He was out coached and Uconn is just a way better team it was a pretty simple formula. Also one of Uconns best players was out so that excuse was sad.
