Old School Big East Is Back: Rick Pitino Simply Won't Stop Getting Into A Pissing Match With UConn, Calls Them Out For Crying To The Conference

This war between Rick Pitino, St. John's, Hurley, UConn and an arena has been going on for like a month now:

That'll do it. Why should the Big East have any right to say where St. John's plays it games. Frankly, they shouldn't even play at MSG. They should always play at Carnesecca Arena and make it a batshit crazy place. I know it's MSG, but we're talking college hoops here. MSG should only be the Big East Tournament. Point, look at what Pitino says here:

Hilarious ricochet sho at Georgetown and DePaul, but factually correct. Nobody shows up to those games. But for St. John's, they gotta embrace who they are. They gotta embrace whatever Pitino wants to do. 

Easily the two most entertaining coaches in the Big East are Hurley and Pitino. This is what Big East coaches should be. Get into a pissing match, protest, publicly air out your problems. Sound familiar? Anyways, I hope this rivalry never goes away. The old school, original Big East was built on coaches getting into it with each other and their personalities. We're starting to get there again with this version of the Big East. 

I need this to turn into a years long pissing match. I need this to become a rivalry where St. John's is relevant because Rick Pitino is a content machine no matter where he's at. Dude threatened to die of frostbite because he lost by 1 already this year. Sad if the Big East gave in to UConn. Can't have that.
