Tua, Patrick Stewart, Creed, Jeff Probst, Hey Arnold, Peppa Pig, And A Bunch Of Others Fucked Around To Create The Best Super Bowl Commercial Of The Year

Now THAT is how you make a great Super Bowl commercial. Funny, sports/pop culture references sprinkled in, and most importantly memorable.

I understand that I am considered an Old around these parts, but for the life of me I have no clue what is and isn't on the 8 million different streaming platforms that are available to us, which most certainly included Paramount+ before that commercial. But now I know they have Nickelodeon shows for the kids, Halo for the gamers, Survivor for Tommy Smokes, Star Trek for the nerds that are too lame for Star Wars, the NFL for the fans that can love the greatest sport on God's green Earth, and The Drew Barrymore Show for her boyfriend Glenny Balls.

My only criticism of the commercial is that I saw it on February 1st, which was 10 days before the Super Bowl™ Big Game. Again, I'm an old gray beard around these parts, but I appreciate when a Super Bowl™ Big Game commercial crushed during the game which made it the topic of conversation that night as well as the next day. I know how hard that is to do in this internet world we are living in, but I have to believe that the economic impact of everyone from extremely online Gen Z'ers to their parents seeing your commercial for the first time has to be bigger than letting it slow drip out a week ahead of time before it airs for however much money Goodell is banging people for these days.

In all honesty, I probably would've blindly signed up for Paramount+ instantly based on the hype that commercial would've given me during the 3 hour adrenaline rush that comes on Super Sunday. Now I'll just do what I always do, which is to wait for my parents to ask me to sign them up for a streaming service, which I will happily do before I then login on all my devices at home with the same account because we believe in sharing at the Casa de Clem.

P.S. I need an extended version of this commercial (that Paramount will likely say the NFL banned from showing) where they actually throw Peppa's annoying ass to the top of the mountain because you know Peppa was bothering the shit out of everyone by correcting them to say American Football instead of Football because she is just a bloke from across the pond. This is admittedly coming from a parent that hates the fuck out of Peppa Pig like most parents who have standards for their kids' TV shows. But I stand by everything I said.

P.P.S. Tua not being able to reach the top of a mountain to help his friends out then watching Patrick Stewart dust off his 83-year-old arm to throw Arnold may be a new rock bottom for Dolphins fans and TUANON, which they seemingly have hit every week since that Titans game on Monday Night Football.
