Anthony Edwards Doesn't Give A Shit About A Fine From The NBA As He Calls Out The Refs For Their Bullshit

If you're interested in how the top of the Western Conference shakes out, last night was a pretty important matchup down in OKC. The 1st place Wolves coming to town for a date against the 2nd place Thunder, this wasn't just your typical late January regular season game. Given the fact that it was the final meeting between these two sides, we had H2H tiebreakers at stake. If you have dreams of making a deep playoff run, having homecourt sure does help, and if we were ever to get a series between these two teams, it could make all the difference in the world.

Already down 2-1, you could say this was as much of a "must win" as you can get in January for the Wolves, and against a team that was 17-5 heading into Monday, that's certainly not an easy place to win. In order to pull it off, the Wolves were going to have to get a big time performance from their best player, and boy did Anthony Edwards deliver with a huge 27/4/4 and plays like this in the Wolves win

If that wasn't enough, Ant made sure to get his money's worth after the game

Yeah, that's going to cost him a couple Gs. Given that he was so direct, it wouldn't shock me if that was a $50,000 fine or something close to it. The NBA and Adam Silver don't exactly love when you call out the officiating publicly like that, but do you think Ant gives a shit? A man who just signed this deal?

Whatever fine coming his way is pocket change and frankly, money well spent. As we know when stars cry about calls, things usually swing in their favor. Not only that, we already know that NBA refs are complete morons who routinely stink at their job. Not even stink a little, stink a lot. I will say the FTA difference and foul difference wasn't all that crazy, it was 22-15 in favor of OKC nad 19 fouls to 17. Granted, SGA took more FTA himself than the entire Wolves team, so that's probably pretty frustrating to have to deal with.

Also, I'm not going to sit here and disagree with Edwards about NBA refs. They're the worst.
