RIP Porn Legend Jesse Jane

Moore police conducted a welfare check around 11 a.m. Wednesday morning at a rental home in Moore, the department's public information officer Clint Byley told The Oklahoman.
Inside police found adult film actress Jesse Jane, 43, born Cindy Howell, and her boyfriend Brett Hasenmueller, 33, deceased, Byley said. The welfare check was requested by Hasenmueller's employer, who police said hadn't heard from him for a few days. Police do not believe there was any foul play involved in the deaths, but suspect the two died of an overdose. The state medical examiner's office will determine cause of death.
Howell was an adult film star from Fort Worth, Texas who has long called the Oklahoma City area home. She began her adult film career in 2002 when she signed a contract with Digital Playground, and remained in the adult film business until 2017 when she announced that she was retiring from the industry. She is best known for starring in the adult film movie franchise "Pirates." The sequel, "Pirates II: Stagnetti's Revenge," cost an estimated $8 million and is hailed as the most expensive adult film ever made.
RIP to an absolute superstar of the adult film industry. I imagine anyone that dabbled in that industry knows the name and the work of Jesse Jane over the years. Not only that, but her cameo on Entourage for the Comic Con episode was incredible where Dwight Schrute was playing a blogger so scuzzy, even Portnoy wouldn't hire him.
I don't know if the Pussy Patrol comic was real or not but I was always convinced Jesse Jane was known for her great timing by people who studied the craft of acting.
Jesse also indirectly played a role in an absolutely iconic Barstool storyline by making Pirates II, which Simon in turn pirated, and launched a thousand content ships in the Pirate Porn Saga.
Not only that, but Jesse also made a brief yet bubbly appearance in one of Portnoy's AVN videos that don't even seem real all these years later.
Based on what I read in some of the stories about Jesse's passing, there were a bunch of comments from people who met her that said she was a genuinely nice and good person, which makes this even more of a tragedy in an industry full of it.
