'He's Better Than Josh' - Rashee Rice Started Laughing His Ass Off When He Was Asked To Compare Josh Allen vs Mahomes In The Playoffs

It's not exactly breaking news here that Patrick Mahomes is better than Josh Allen, it's not even just Josh Allen. Patrick Mahomes is on the short list of the best quarterbacks we've seen. His biggest downfall is his brother and wife, everything else is up for debate for the best start to a career we've ever seen.

Again, this isn't anything against Josh Allen, he's fucking awesome. But what do we expect Rashee Rice to say here? Not even sure why we have to do the comparison between them, don't think anyone was arguing heavy for Allen over Mahomes. In fact the only people who were crying about Josh Allen last night were Bengals fans who demand attention any time there's a Chiefs game or Bengals game or really any AFC game. I can't tell you how many tweets I saw like this:

That was tweeted AFTER the game. There wasn't one person going, yeah you know what? Joe Burrow would make this game and until he's there I'm turning it off. Allen was a monster. Did he miss a throw to Shakir? Yeah he did, because Dion Dawkins was pushed into his lap. I know he could have went underneath to Diggs, but he had a wide open touchdown. I also saw people freaking out because of how short his completions were, etc. You wanna keep throwing deep when this was happening?

Say what you want, Allen feels safely in the top-5 quarterbacks in the league. In some order at full health it's Mahomes, Jackson, Allen, Burrow and, uh, I guess C.J. Stroud or Tommy DeVito aor 1pm Kirk Cousins or November Dak Prescott or warm weather Tua, or 1st-3rd quarter Justin Herbert. Tough call really.

It is bizarre how we talk about quarterbacks wins/losses and what not. Yeah, they are a massive part of the game, but Allen/Mahomes had nothing to do with the fake punt. They had nothing to do with the missed kick. Just these simple things that somehow prove whether or not a quarterback can win in the moment.

I love the response by Rice here though. The hell you want him to say? He was near tears at the thought of Josh Allen (or anyone) being in the same level of Mahomes. It's him and then everyone else who is currently playing quarterback no matter what happens this coming Sunday.
