'It's Too Late For You' - Dan Campbell Doesn't Want Any Person Who Doubted Him Or The Lions To Start Cheering For Them Now

I know people will laugh this off because quite literally every team and coach says something like this. But we're not talking about a regular team, we're talking about the Lions. I keep saying it, but the Lions were the losers not just of the NFL but arguably all of sports. That's juts what they did. They lost in heartbreaking fashion, they had stars retire early and everyone just assumed they'd win like 4 or 5 games and have a top-3 pick.

Now here they are, playing a second playoff game at home, favored and everyone is all aboard the Dan Campbell train. How can't you be? Unless you cheer for an NFC North team, nobody actually hates the Lions. They are and were impossible to hate. It's like hating the Kings in the NBA.

And let's not forget that Campbell was for sure mocked early on. People for sure thought he'd fail with the whole biting kneecaps and weird speeches he gave. But the man who puts a lipper in and goes for it randomly with fake punts on his own 30-yard line has built a monster in Detroit. Shit, he gave Jared Goff a new life with his career. He has everything but a decent defensive backfield. He's proved every moron wrong who said a blocking tight end who sounds like a stereotypical football guy can't win. He delivered the first playoff win in 32 years. That alone should give him a job for life in Detroit. Another one and we're looking at a possible statue for him outside of Ford Field.

This is how it should be. Fuck paying a ridiculous amount of money for a playoff game. The Lions should have a loyalty system for people to get playoff tickets. Those who were there during the 0-win season. Those who showed up game after game knowing damn well they had no shot to win. Give those people the tickets and make it even louder in there.
