It Turns Out Jason Kelce Hasn't Officially Retired, But He Did Give His Jersey To His Favorite McDonald's Worker Today
It was pretty much implied that Kelce was retiring after the blowout loss to the Bucs because he started crying on the field.
He also thought that he was going to retire before the season. If you watch the documentary he actually put out he cannot move. That was also before the 40 tush pushes they did this year.
I thought it was kind of crazy that he would go out like that considering how important he's been to the Eagles franchise. He wouldn't just cry and say absolutely nothing. Maybe he will play one more year? The way their season collapsed, that's a tough way to go out. Like if Belichick goes there is he really gonna step away and not entertain one more season?
Jason Kelce is the man. He will do it in a respectful way and he deserves a better send off. The more important story here is giving his jersey to his favorite McDonalds worker today.
These people are the real MVPs. I can only imagine how hard a McChicken and a Big Mac with a crisp soda tastes after a long NFL game. It probably makes it even better when that same employee is always there after a game. You build a relationship nobody can recreate because McDonalds is that special when it hits right. I am getting emotional just writing this.
Shoutout to Jason Kelce. He seems like the most genuine guy and bleeds for the Eagles. It's just sad that the Eagles are soft and let him down with his final season. He's probably retiring and will announce it on his podcast, but the drama to see if he runs it back one more time has the fans by the balls.
