This Is The Most Intense Pregame Moment Of All-Time

I drafted the Haka Dance in the first round of sports traditions yesterday. These dudes on New Zealand transform into neolithic warriors before every game when they do the haka. This version was the first one I ever saw and it has been burned into my brain ever since.

I argued on the show that the Haka Dance is worth points on the field. I think that is probably true of a few traditions. What is unique about the Haka Dance is that it's the only tradition that makes the opponent feel like they need to respond. You can not ignore the haka. France felt compelled to show that they weren't intimidated and marched right up to the line to stare down the All-Blacks with the scariest dude whoever lived...Sebastian Chabal.

I said the Haka Dance transforms New Zealand into neolithic warriors…Sebastian Chabal doesn't need to be transformed. He lives every day like that. He's got neanderthal DNA. He looks like the Germanic Barbarian in the beginning of "Gladiator"

A stoolie DM'd me saying that Chabal was "not a good guy by all accounts". I don't know what that means and I refuse to look it up. You could tell me that he goes around snapping the necks of lambs and drinking their blood pregame and I'd believe it. The man is a savage. This to me was the peak moment of the Haka. The one that I think of. The one that I want everyone to know about and that is why I wrote this blog.
