Mel Kiper Jr Has Convinced People That The Bears SHOULD Trade Justin Fields

I've been back and forth and back again on Justin Fields over the last 12 months. I could never bring myself to pull the trigger on different potential trades involving him. This one though...this is different. How is anyone supposed to turn down three top 10 picks? You can't. I think if Atlanta offers this trade you have to say yes and conference in the league immediately. Don't hang up until it's done.

Getting three picks in the top 10 would allow the Bears to completely transform their offense in a matter of mere hours. Caleb Williams or whichever QB you like at the top of the draft. And then two of Rome Odunze, Brock Bowers, and an offensive tackle. Imagine that offense. Let it soak in. I start salivating at the thought of running two TEs with Bowers and Kmet, Odunze opposite of DJ Moore, a QB who can be a hand-off merchant with easy throws to big targets on play-action, and I would also take Audric Estime later in the draft. Pound the fucking rock. Get yourself in 3rd and manageable all game long, and then let Caleb Williams take a few big shots per game. Have a fast and rested defense. I can't think of a better situation than that.

Now, I have no idea where Kiper is getting that info and if I am being honest it feels like Mel isn't as sharp of an insider as he once was, but as I am watching two divisional rivals play deep into January it is nice to fantasize about a new offense to keep us warm.
