Anything For Family: Travis Ford's Son Is Being Accused Of Creating Multiple Burner Accounts To Defend His Dad's Coaching Job At Saint Louis

Whoa, wait a damn minute here. Am I, as a father to two boys, supposed to not defend Travis Ford (a Kentucky legend) or his son here? This is what sons are supposed to do. Some fight with their fists, others allegedly create burners and slide into DMs and tweet at people. I can't think of one other job in the world where this would happen, only college basketball. Nope, nothing close to home or anything like that. Burner accounts are strictly for sports and the people who play and work within that world.

It's too easy to spot a burner account. I mean, look at the research done here. We need people to start becoming creative with their alleged burner accounts. Have a backstory, create a whole fake persona. Can't just be an egg out there and start tweeting. That's red flag number 1. Need a picture, a name, a career. You can get as creative as you want, really open the brain up. Shit, we may have to have a little meeting with the families of the numerous armies people have here to make sure they know the rules of burner accounts.

That said, this is just A-10 basketball. Is it a good conference? Heavens no. I mean Dayton is good this year. Davidson is historically a decent program. They have the names, but the conference is always whatever. It's not true mid-major, it's also not high major conference. But what this conference is, is batshit crazy. If you really want to get into the weeds of college basketball bizarre fandoms on Twitter just search any diehard A-10 fan. Shit, just look at our beloved Doogs. That man is A-10 basketball, who had this interaction.

These people go fucking bananas for their schools and I will respect that. That's why it's shocking this is just the first burner account scandal we've had in the league. I assumed this would be at least our 5th or 6th. I know Frank Martin wouldn't let a burner account scandal fly at UMass, but you're telling me someone from St. Bonaventure isn't out there getting a fracas started online? I don't think so. I also wouldn't rule out it being Woj.

There are no off days in the A-10 when it comes to being online. I just hope one day they learn how to properly create a burner account.
