Jahvon Quinerly…COLD BLOODED With A Three To Beat SMU

The only person trying to have a better week than Jersey Jerry is Jahvon Quinerly. Now Jahvon is still a distant second considering Jerry broke the internet, literally broke it. But he’s sure as shit giving it his best effort. 

Quinerly drills a big 3 today to lock up a win vs SMU. Just a cold blooded big time ain’t shit you can do about it as a defender shot. Takes balls to take it, takes tons of practice to make it. Teams with big time aspirations in March need a “DAWG “ to quote Pat Bev and Memphis has one in JQ. Breaks my heart to see him in Blue instead of crimson for  the Tide. 

This game winner is just 2 days after he drilled one to beat Tulsa.

Memphis just got Nae'Qwan Tomlin as an immediate eligible transfer but looks like they will lose Caleb Mills for an extended period of time if not the entire season . Regardless, there’s some buzz with the Tigers in terms of a National Title sleeper. 

David Jones is a beast . JQ is a veteran leader never afraid to take the shot, and Jaykwon Walton and Nicholas Jourdain provide solid scoring and rebounding. I worry about Penny Hardaway breaking through but we are 100% in a break through period in the sport. Danny Hurley just won his first title after not being to a second weekend prior. Tony Bennett won one in the last 5-6 years as has Scott Drew. It seems like the days of having to have been to 5 Final Fours are over. NIL can get a team hot quick. The portal can get you in the conversation faster than you think. Maybe even though Penny hasn’t had much success in the tourney, he could just be the next guy to break through. +6000 sure is tempting. Worth a look…
