Always Hold A Grudge: The Lions Delivered A Perfect Mocking Of The NFL And Their Garbage Refs After Last Week's Shit Show
This is how you become America's Team. I'm not talking about fighting in stands or screaming about the 90s glory (hole) days or a certain star on the helmet. I'm talking about the growth of the Lions from a team everyone shrugged when they won 0 games to Dan Campbell's knee biting comments to ruining the Packers season a year ago and now winning the NFC North. Look they even have a beautiful banner to go with it
This is about holding a grudge though. We know what happened a week ago with the whole ineligible receiver. This is basically the football version of texting your ex late night. You think it might change, but there's 0 shot of a text back. You 100% think it's a good idea as your buddies just go yeah you know how this ends, but all it takes is one sup back. Maybe, just maybe, one day the NFL will come out and help the Lions and say you know what? We got it wrong. Okay, even I know that's a goddamn impossible dream, especially with Roger in charge.
There's nothing better than a good grudge. I don't care who it's against. Shit, you can have a grudge against a building for all I care, you just hate that motherfucker until the end of time. The Lions should wear shirts protesting Brad Allen like the Boz did back in the day
If the Lions really want to embrace the grudge, first play of the game. Have Decker come in and check in as eligible. Play into the hate.
