Sentence I Never Thought I Would Use: Pacers Vs. Bucks Will Be Must Watch Television Tonight

Ever since GameBallGate two weeks ago, I've had the Pacers vs Bucks circled on the calendar. It's going to be can't miss television after the note these two teams left on. I would be willing to bet things get out of hand, and someone gets ejected. Does a January NBA game deserve big screen treatment? Not a chance, that's obviously for the College Football Playoff, BUT Pacers/Bucks will be on the laptop to see if Giannis and his brother try to fight the entire Pacers roster. This time, the Pacers will be ready after signing trained assassin James Johnson literally the day after the Bucks and Pacers almost threw down  ...

This is the best NBA rivalry at the moment. There are historic rivalries that have been back and forth for decades, but right now, none of those have legit bad blood between teams. Boston vs LA ? Jayson Tatum wishes he was a Laker, and is literally texting Kobe's ghost for support before games. MIL and IND legit HATE each others guts, which is the most important ingredient for a rivalry. Obviously winning is the ultimate revenge, but a couple elbows and chippy plays in this first match-up are going to go a long way in extending this newly formed rivalry, and we won't have to wait long for Round 2 … Milwaukee and Pacers play again January 3rd in Indy.

I'm still confused as hell about the game ball situation. There were a ton of breakdowns on twitter, but we never really got our answer as to exactly what happened. Seems like the first person we should have talked to was the Bucks head of security who secured the game ball the second the refs blew the whistle. Did no one ask the Buck's head of security what he did with the ball?

Maybe the NBA doesn't want our questions answered? Maybe the NBA wants us to care about a meeting between two small market teams in January that no one would care about otherwise? Maybe like the classic hypothetical question of how many waves of kindergartners you can fight, the NBA wants to figure out how many undersized Pacers bench players Giannis could run through? We may find out tonight …
