Georgia Beat Florida State's Ass So Badly That Players Were on Instagram Live in the Middle of the Game

My goodness, what an epic beatdown. For the second consecutive year, Georgia won a postseason game by at least 58 points. Not too bad.

Even by Georgia's standards, though, going on Instagram Live in the middle of a game is a new level of disrespect. Obviously you're not allowed to even have phones on the sideline, but when you're kicking somebody's ass this mercilessly, I guess all bets are off.

This was seemingly a huge win for everyone railing against Florida State potentially making the College Football Playoff without Jordan Travis — despite the fact this team had multiple first round picks opt out, but whatever — however in actuality, this game showed a fatal flaw in the logic that was allegedly used to exclude the Seminoles. Alabama was supposedly included in the Playoff because it's one of the "four best teams," yet Georgia, clearly one of the four best and likely still *the* best, was relegated to the Orange Bowl to beat FSU senseless. If the criteria was truly the four best teams, the Bulldogs would have been included rather than Texas.

But all that's in the past now. It was for the best that Florida State didn't get fed to the wolves in the Playoff, whether it was right or not. And the Noles certainly didn't help their case with a performance so pathetic that their opponents had to go on IG Live to be mildly entertained in the second half.
