Men Get Emotional Too: Absurd Story Of Barber Breaking Up With A Customer Because He Did Some Videographer Work For A Different Barbershop

This story is going viral today and it had me in absolute tears. Women are emotional and men are rational is on life support right now after this entire interaction. Every man knows there's a sacrality to the relationship with you and your barber. For starters, it's impossible to find the right one. It's trial by fire until you find that one person who is going to end up being the only person who cuts your hair for years. It's the most loyal you'll probably ever be, until you reach like age 35 and have to make the decision if it's time to go to Turkey or you can just wear a hat like Gaz for the rest of eternity.

With that being said, this is maybe the softest interaction I've ever read from a business owner. I initially thought that maybe these were competing shops, to which you'd maybe give a little more leniency here from the psycho barber, but nope. The poor fella without a haircut said they're in two different markets:

Maybe it's a good thing that he didn't end up going to get the cut? Can you imagine the hurt in the barber's hands that would have been fighting all intrusive thoughts to not fuck up his haircut a few days before NYE? He could barely get a text off telling him they're finished from what seems to be a decade long plus relationship of cuts. "No love loss" is an insane text to send to someone who comes in once a month (every 2 days if you're Jeff D Lowe) to get a haircut.

I wish we had a POV of the barber shop when they were watching the video work from this guy for the other shop. I'm assuming it was probably very well done if it caused this reaction, because otherwise they maybe would have given him a free cut for sabotaging who they think is a competitor. All we have is this viral story, no reaction or name from the barber shop, and this guy is scrambling to find a cut before the biggest party day of the entire year.

No love loss indeed.
