Reason #676 To Love Kansas State Head Coach Jerome Tang ... The WIldcats Celebrated Post Game Blaring Christmas Music

I know everyone and their mother is mad at me for my trip to Creighton and Kansas State last week since my teams (Alabama and K-State) went 0-2 on the trip. Everyone thinks I'm a jinx, especially the K-State people who swear nothing good has happened since the famous "clapping" incident.

I would quickly remind those people that Kansas State won that night vs Michigan State in the Sweet 16, but you'll never hear that part of the story. It's with great caution that I write about Coach Tang given how much the internet thinks I jinx them, but I have to call it like I see it here and this is awesome. Very rarely does it seem like coaches, especially in college hoops want to show their personalities (or even have one to begin with) but Tang is not one of those guys. He's unapologetically authentic, and very much adored by the players and fans in Manhattan, KS.

Everyone knows the Low Down video, and the viral dancing.

But it's when you look at things like how he handled the Nae'Qwan Tomlin dismissal.

How highly his players speak of him, his commitment to excellence watching practice, and word on campus that he has spent time fixing things in kids dorms, you start to realize his mix of dedication and keeping it loose is the perfect mix on the sidelines. Just an all time guy you would want to play for. Keep on dancing coach … it means you are winning.
