The Television Cameras Caught The Exact Moment Kyle McCord Regretted Transferring To Syracuse
Which fucking idiot at this company blogged this 4 days ago? The answer to the question, as if it even needs to be said, is NO. Like, I get the premise, Syracuse's schedule is bad. In fact, I am going to downgrade their schedule from Bad to Terrible:
They avoid Florida State, Clemson, and North Carolina. Their non-conference schedule might be the worst in the entire country. And they're bringing in a former 5-star recruit QB that was 12-1 as a starter on the biggest of stages in college football. You would THINK this means they will improve enough to beat the scrubs on that slate. I get why McCord would go here based on that!
…..but I guess he didn't do his research that Syracuse fucking sucks.
And while Syracuse fans probably knew they sucked all along, and the rest of the country found out this morning when they woke up and saw the final score of the RoofClaim Boca Raton Bowl, it looks like the ESPN cameras found the exact moment Kyle McCord learned just how bad they are.
I don't think we're in Columbus anymore, Kyle! And I don't think he realized it. I don't think he understood what he was walking into, as you can see on his face.
Down 38-0 midway through the 3rd to the 5th place team in the AAC? I don't care that USF, although I have time and time again is going to be the G5 rep in the playoff next year behind the trio of Alex Golesh / Byrum Brown / Parker Carmichael, is on the up and coming. You cannot be taken seriously if you get shutout 45-0 by a team that gives up 35 points per game.
The fact of the matter is that Kyle McCord needs to enter the transfer portal again. He didn't look great when he was throwing to a wide receiver room that didn't allow you to enter unless you were a 5-star recruit, and I don't think Syracuse is in the mix for the next Marvin Harrison Jr. I mean, he went from handing the ball off to TreVeyon Henderson and now he's going to hand it off to a guy who had: TWENTY CARRIES FOR TWO YARDS.

LeQuint Allen stats from last night:
Enjoy, Kyle! You made your decision, and these are the consequences of it. But what's crazy to me is that it looks like Ohio State is legitimately sticking with the guys in their own QB room for next year, not bringing in a transfer. Kyle McCord has as good of, if not better, a chance as any to start again next season in Columbus with a team that will go at worst 11-1 again, but make the playoff this time. And he gave it all up because he (and his dad) wanted a guaranteed starting spot and NIL money. Umm, yes, congrats Kyle. You are the starter for Syracuse next year.
