The Nation's #1 Recruit Jeremiah Smith Says Miami And Florida Are "Throwing All Types Of Money" At Him 24 Hours Before Signing Day

Nice. Just 24 hours before signing day, the #1 player in the country, who has been committed to Ohio State for more than 365 days, is rumored to be flipping at the last minute sheerly due to the size of the bags that schools are throwing at him. And he comes out and says this:

Well that's a breath of fresh air, but now that I'm done with the one single breath, let me reiterate for the one millionth time how much the landscape of college football has changed for the worse. Nothing matters anymore. I used to enjoy seeing who we were recruiting, seeing who we were developing, projecting out our roster 2-3 years in advance, and watching our program take its form, but now I do not care about anything other than the game on Saturdays.

I honestly don't even care who commits and even who attends Ohio State anymore. We had Quinn Ewers....and he took zero snaps and is now leading Texas into the playoff. Kyle McCord led us to an 11-1 season and won't even be playing in the Bowl Game because he's already committed to Syracuse for next season. Huh? Our 5-star WR Julian Fleming will be on the other fucking sideline next year when we play at Penn State. And in the last week alone, we've lost multiple recruits to fucking 7-5 MIAMI. Why? Because they're paying high school kids ridiculous amounts of money to not attend a proven winner that will develop them into an NFL player just so they can get some cash now? It's gross. Why else would someone make this decision two days before Signing Day?

It'd be one thing if Miami was the Miami of old. But they are officially a 7-5 every year team that plays in the ACC while the rest of the country is running from the ACC. It makes no sense. But kids want to go there over Ohio State now….?

Anyways, as for this Jeremiah Smith guy, I'm glad he's staying a Buckeye (maybe? Still a lot of time to raise another billion dollars for him in the next 24 hours). Wake me up in September and let me know who our starting QB is. It could literally be anyone from someone on our roster to the current starting QB at USC or Alabama. College football sucks. And no I won't stop watching.
