Bears Owner George McCaskey Voted Against More International Games Because He Knows His Fans 'Want To See Generational Talent, Like Tommy DeVito'

Do I care for the line about laughter after this? No, not one bit. Jealousy maybe. Or they just think Mahomes fell off a cliff or crazy to call one of those other guys generational talent. But credit to George McCaskey here. He finally gets to see generational quarterback play and he doesn't want to lose that. I mean poor Bears fans have had to suffer through some bad quarterback play, so I don't blame them. Would you want to lose a sellout in Chicago just for your fans to have to travel to Brazil to see Tommy DeVito? I don't think so.

And in all seriousness, can we cut the shit with international games? I hate it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the 9 or 10am game from time to time, but we don't need this many of them. It should be a little treat for us. 4 felt like the perfect amount for a season. We need to spread them out more so it feels even more special. Nothing like getting a football couch day from 10am until midnight.

This is how I know John Mara needs to sell the Giants though. A real owner would have fought every other owner in that room for laughing. Then again, this is fucking Mara.

Throw a chair at the other owners, John! Show some fight. You finally have a quarterback not named Eli Manning that everyone is rallying around. Shit, he won a Monday Night Football game. You know who stinks in those games? You do. We all do. We've all seen the graphic on one of our 5 primetime games.

McCaskey is right though. You shouldn't lose a chance to see Tommy DeVito. He's the hottest guy in the NFL right now. People are just waiting for him to put up a stinker so they can say 15 minutes are up. Fuck that. Lead us to the promise land baby! Lead us to that 7 seed. Generational talent from McCakey's mouth to our ears.

PS: I had to double check this quote roughly 30 times to make sure it's real. Sure is. Right here on CBS
