Giannis Should Retire From Basketball While He Still Has Any Likability Left

What the fuck is going on in Milwaukee? I don't know where to start with this massive post game cluster fuck. It's 2AM and no one is exactly sure what happened. It started on the court with Giannis throwing an elbow directly into Haliburton's chest AFTER Hali scores.

Something tells me this has to do with the Pacers EMBARRASSING the Bucks during the in-season tourney, and had the Bucks and Bobby Portis questioning if they should continue on with the season. But people say the in-season tourney doesn't matter to anyone at all, so couldn't be that?

Then post game, Giannis confronts Haliburton/ coaches then hurdling down the tunnel towards the Pacers locker room like a bat out of hell ready to throw hands because he thinks someone took his basketball ball? The Pacers definitely took a ball to give to Oscar Tshiebwe for scoring his first NBA points, but did they take the game ball?

The internet immediately started running with a Pacers coach stole the game ball because of this clip …

I guess it's dark and somewhat hard to tell who the credentialed guy from the Buck's bench immediately running onto the court to seize possession of game ball is, but looking at a clip, not from a 1990's standard def television, you can clearly see the credentialed man is wearing a green Bucks quarter-zip, the same one the entire bench staff behind him is wearing …

So it looks like the Bucks got the game ball, and the Pacers took the reserve ball back to the their locker room. Everyone got a ball, everyone is happy. Problem solved. I guess we can all laugh about how lame and stupid this whole situation was and Giannis can apologize for having a meltdown…

I guess when you drop 64 points on a team and shoot 32 free throws, you know better than anyone on the court what the that game ball would feel like, but this is ridiculous.  Oh, you want Dame to have the reserve ball for moving to 5th in 3 point scoring? Fine. BUT, Now you want to bring up you didn't get the game 6 finals ball? Adam Silver is going to have to step in like a parent talking to 5 year olds, "How about we take away everyone's ball and no one gets a ball?" I understand the Bucks wanting both balls and think they have every right as the home team and the fact two vets wanted the balls. BUT, the way they handled it … Giannis storming around yelling and trying to fight people, showing up to the Pacers locker room with his brother and elbowing the Pacer's GM because he thought someone took his ball is more embarrassing than Draymond slapping Jusuf Nurkic on the court. This was about more than the ball. Giannis was already butt hurt about being 0-2 to the Pacers and Haliburton getting the national spotlight.

When the #1 seeded Bucks got bounced by the #8 seed Miami Heat in the playoffs and Giannis spin zoned the loss with loser talk trying to sound like a winner, I knew I was out on this guy. He sucks. If LeBron said any of this after a loss the internet would crucify him. Instead small market Giannis was viewed as a wise beyond his years guy for understanding basketball is more than just winning! Die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. And not a cool villain like the Joker, a soft ass Batman villain like Calendar Man.

Never thought the newest NBA rivalry would be between two of the media darling small market teams, but I'm LOVING how much these teams are starting to hate each other. The Hicks vs Knicks rivalry is outdated, it's now midwest on midwest crime with the Pacers vs Bucks. Circle your calendars, Pacers & Bucks kick off the New Year with back to back games. Jan 1 in Milwaukee and Jan 3 in Indianapolis. Can't wait to see these teams go at each other's throats for the Central Division.

Also starting to hate might be putting it lightly, these teams already fucking hate each other. Great for the game.
