Bronny James Has Been Cleared To Return To Basketball After His Cardiac Arrest, Expects To Play In Games For USC 'Soon'

Awesome news. We know what happened a few months ago:

News today is he's now cleared to play, will do a final evaluation with the USC medical staff and get back to practice. I said it in the original blog but it's worth mentioning again. USC and Andy Enfield have experience with this. Vincent Iwuchukwu suffered a similar cardiac arrest before last season and eventually played later in the year. So I'm sure Enfield and the USC staff have a plan on when to bring him back into games and everything along that.

As for USC? It's big. Bronny has a role on this team if he's the same player he was coming out of high school. He likely won't be a starter but come in and play on the wing with Isaiah Collier and Boogie Ellis as the guards. Oh, Collier legit might be the No. 1 pick in the NBA Draft. He's fucking awesome. They'll also be able to ease Bronny back into playing time. They have 6 games in December, last 2 being Pac-12 play starting.

Either way, it sounds like we'll get to see Bronny out there soon.
