Mike Trout Is Back On Top

After taking a tumble from the top spot, Mike Trout it back on top. And he has Alex Bregman and Brian McCann to thank as they pulled a massive upset with an #11 over #1 seeded Jake Marisnick and Andrew Benintendi.

Credit to Bregs and McCann as they have benched their 2nd round pick Patrick Mahomes and seen improved scoring with CJ Stroud at the helm. Nico Collins provides an explosive stack with Stroud and Jonathan Taylor, Garrett Wilson, and the Jets D/ST did enough to get them by Marisnick & Benintendi who made all the right moves, but just fell short. They are now in 2nd place with two weeks to go.

Meanwhile, Trout made easy work of Wil Myers who is stuck on one win this season. His decision to ditch Josh Allen and Travis Kelce early and go all in on RBs and Brock Purdy has left the defending champion in shambles.

On the other side, Trout's embarassment of riches at WR have led him astray a few times as he will bench the wrong one, but it didn't matter this week against Wil who only mustered up one double digit starter.

Manny Machado is pushing hard for a bye after winning his 5th straight game. On the other side, Mike Napoli has now dropped seven in a row. He only had two guys in double digits this week as his team can't seem to be on the same page the past two months.

Manny has been crushing with Brian Robinson Jr. and Sam Howell greatly outplaying their draft position. Now that he has Justin Fields back, it'll be interesting to see how he manages his QB room.

Joc Pederson, Austin Barnes, and Alex Wood beat Shane Bieber and Austin Hedges by 71 points! This ass kicking featured the winning team having every starter except the Kicker score 13 points or more.

Meanwhile, Biebs and Hedgey only had one starter above 13.0 points (Deebo Samuel). The Meet Me At The London group has put together some strong weeks and sit in 4th place right now.

The only team that was really close to them this week was managed by Dave Portnoy. Dave's win puts him on the edge of clinching a playoff berth, which could come in handy with Josh Allen on a bye this week. Allen and Christian McCaffrey put up more points than Wil Myers entire team as Dave won by 62 points.

Mike Moustakas made a valiant comeback to get into the hunt with four weeks to go, but he's fallen apart since the Joe Burrow injury and failed to break 100 this week.

Don't look now but Eric Hosmer is in the playoff picture. The overall points leader got a huge win over JT Realmuto and Kyle Schwarber who previously occupied the #6 spot.

Hosmer had six guys drop 20+ fantasy points including a Dolphins D/ST that really came up big for him. JT and Schwarbs ony had two guys at 20+ points and lose despite an outstanding game from Dak Prescott who dropped a 40 burger.

With two weeks left in the regular season, here is where we stand:
