The Buccaneers sat at 4-6 going into Sunday and firmly "In The Hunt" per NFL on FOX's graphic.

And while that record is by no means good, they were only half a game back from the Saints for the division lead. The Saints played the 2nd place team in the NFC South, the Falcons and got beat today. So the Falcons at 5-6 are now in 1st place in the NFC South.

The Bucs had a chance to tie them at 5-6 if they could take care of business in Indianapolis, but they simply could not get it done. Despite plenty of big plays being made when they need to.

The Bucs just could not finish and shot themselves in the foot by giving up 3rd down conversions or being flagged for penalties. This play in particular stood out.

Back in our Super Bowl year, you could not even think about turning the corner on Devin White, especially as a QB.

The contrast this year, seeing Gardner Minshew do it, while slamming on the brakes and watch White fly by was stark.

And while the defense did make a big stop when it counted.

The offense simply could not get it done and tie the game. The Bucs fall to 4-7 and are in danger of not winning their first NFC South title since 2020.
