Ohio State's Loss To Michigan Might Be The Most Embarrassing In College Football History

I don't know how you come back from this as an Ohio State fan. The Buckeyes came into this game 11-0 for a third straight year and went home with a third straight loss — this time to an assistant coach — after seemingly hiring a private investigation firm to dig up dirt on Michigan. All things considered, this might be the most embarrassing loss in the history of college football.

This was the last year OSU could have come into this game with any semblance of confidence. Even if the Buckeyes are 11-0 again next year, you have to go into that game with your tail tucked between your legs. Things will be different in regards to the College Football Playoff, but you can't talk shit again until Ohio State finally wins another one over Michigan, which at this point seems like a far-fetched idea.

The biggest kick in the dick has to be that the Buckeyes actually played pretty well outside of a couple interceptions from Kyle McCord — "Other than that, how was the play, Mrs. Lincoln?" — and were on the wrong end of a pretty bad call that flipped a would-be turnover into a Michigan touchdown.

But none of that matters now. Ohio State lost to Michigan again and I don't see a way there is an available CFP spot for an 11-1 team that missed out on its conference championship game.

I can sympathize, but this is going to hurt for a long time. Pray for Big Ev. Buy a shirt for 20 percent off.
