If This Ohio State Team Has Balls, They'll Steal Michigan's Signs Right Back Tomorrow Like They Did 50 Years Ago To This Day

The year was 1973 (50 years ago to this very day), and Ohio State was heading into Ann Arbor, Michigan for another epic installment of The Game. Both teams were undefeated, and the winner of that days matchup would be the Big Ten Champions and represent the conference in The Rose Bowl to play for a National Championship. It was #1 vs. #4, which at the time was the highest ranked meeting between the two schools in the history of the rivalry. Needless to say, with the legendary Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler patrolling the sidelines, it was a big game.
Now, as the teams went to enter the field, Michigan did that cute little run, jump, and touch the banner move that they and 7th graders across America as they pass through a doorway both do.

Anyways, Ohio State proceeded to sprint right out of the tunnel immediately after them and give this rivalry one of it's most iconic moments:

Well worth the watch, and whether your volume can be on or not as you check it out, the text version of the Michigan announcer's call still gives me chills:
"And they're tearing down Michigan's coveted M Club banner! They will meet a dastardly fate here for that! There isn't a Michigan man in the stadium who wouldn't like to go out and scalp those Buckeyes right now! They had the audacity – the unmitigated gal – to tear down the coveted M that Michigan is going to run out from under!"

Which brings me to my point of this blog: if this Ohio State has one ounce of fight in them, they'll tear that motherfucking sign down again tomorrow. Don't take no for an answer. No coach, police officer, security guard, and especially no one wearing maize and blue stands in your way. They planted their flag on our 50 yard line, and now we rip down that banner right back. Set the tone before the game that we're here for a (fair***) FIGHT.
They stole our signs, now let's steal theirs. Rip that motherfucker down tomorrow. Tell them to do it, Ryan Day.
