Nick Sirianni Is Out Of His Damn Mind, Couldn't Possibly Give Less Of A Shit About Chiefs Fans
First off let me just start by saying I don't know if it's because I'm just in the holiday spirit or not, but something about this clip is giving off the biggest "Kevin McCallister's not afraid anymore" vibes to me.
Keep in mind that Kevin McCallister ended up beating the brakes off the Wet Bandits twice in a row. Could bode well for Sirianni in a potential rematch against the Chiefs in February.
But now that that's out of the way....I get it.
I can understand why 31 other fanbases around the league hate the Eagles. Because admittedly, if Nick Sirianni wasn't coaching the Philadelphia Eagles then I'd probably hate the guy, too. But that's the thing. He does coach the Eagles. He's our guy, and he's not afraid to be himself completely and unapologetically. He's not trying to be anybody else out there. He's Nick Sirianni, he's a goddamn prick, he loves the game and cares about his team, and he'll let you know about it afterwards. There's something special about that.
Every friend group has a Nick Sirianni. And as much as you might not think it, every friend group needs a Nick Sirianni. Just a crazy bastard who does and says whatever the hell he wants, and you know that if he wasn't your friend that you'd hate the kid. But he's your boy, and that's just who he is. You've probably spent a few years trying to apologize for his actions on behalf of the entire friend group, but eventually you just give up. Because that's who he is, and everybody can just fuck themselves if they don't like it.
Jalen Hurts is about as stoic as they make them. He's as close to a Nick Saban/Bill Belichick clone as you could get. Jason Kelce is the ultimate professional. DeVonta Smith just goes about his business. Fletcher Cox just goes about his business unless he's coming in to steal your girl. The point I'm making here is that the Eagles already have so many guys who are locked in and reserved on game days. They don't need a coach who is going to force them all to be a bunch of robots out there, because they already have those guys. They need a deranged lunatic who is going to bring the emotion and passion. That's Nick Sirianni, and that's why the Eagles are 9-1.
But again, I totally get why everybody else would hate this guy. As previously mentioned, however, you can go fuck yourselves.
