There's Simply No Way That Eagles And Cowboys Fans Will All Be Able To Survive 3 Games Against Each Other This Season

There are going to be medical studies conducted on Philly and Dallas fans to find out just how many years the 2023 matchups will take off of our lives.

Typically a game like tonight's Eagles vs Cowboys game is the type of game that makes people think "this is why we love sports". The game is 60 minutes long and somehow it felt like an entire lifetime of events went into it. Highlight plays, massive stops, donkey brained mistakes, dog shit officiating, touchdowns getting overturned by half a yard, injuries all over the field. It was the ultimate combination of some of the best and worst football you could possibly ask for. But this wasn't a "this is why we love sports" moment for Philly and Dallas fans. This was a pair of fanbases who are addicted to the thing that they know is going to ultimately kill them one day. And that day may come sooner than later if we get a couple more games like that this season.

At the very least, there's another matchup coming in December. But these are easily the best two teams in the NFC. These are clearly the two teams on a collision course to meet up in the NFC Championship Game with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. There's just not a world where we don't get 3 Eagles vs Cowboys games this year. And I legitimately don't think everybody makes it through them all.

Start making peace with your loved ones. Because if we have to go through another game like that in January, it might be the end of the line for some of us.

They don't ask how, they ask how many. The fact of the matter is that the Eagles are 8-1. We might hate this team more and more after every win. But a win is a win, even if it costed you your entire secondary and 7 years off your life.

Go Birds. We're all wearing thongs the rest of the season.
