Ryan Whitney Takes An Educated Guess On The Next Landing Spot For Patrick Kane

On today's Pardon My Take... RYAN WHITNEY! One of the most popular recurring guests on the show joined Mr. Cat and Mr. Commenter for a 2023-24 NHL Season Preview. Who does Whit have hoisting the Stanley Cup at the end of the season? What are his early thoughts on the young career of Connor Bedard? Those are just some of the storylines that the guys highlighted.

Another talking point that took place during the show involved Patrick Kane. The right winger is an unrestricted free agent and returns from hip surgery in the next few weeks/months, but where will he go? Whitney gave his take on today's show...

*(FYI, he has no inside scoop, these are just the teams he mentioned)*

As said in the video above, Whit is hoping that Kane lands in Buffalo. If that became the case, Kane could help the Sabres extinguish their playoff drought of 13 years (tied with the New York Jets for the longest in the Big 4 pro sports leagues). It also helps that Kane is from Buffalo (insert eyeballs emoji here). Maybe if PMT chimed in and offered a lifetime supply of Wingnutz, that would be enough for him to commit there.

As for other potential landing spots, Whit thinks that Kane could go back to the Rangers, or even to the Dallas Stars. However, as Whit made clear on the show, he is not a journalist, so these are simply predictions on his end.

Where will Kane end up? We shall see...
