For Some Bizarre Reason, Dak Prescott Wants You To Pour Honey On Him Before Eagles Game This Weekend

Eagles vs Cowboys this Sunday night. It's a matchup between the top 2 teams in the division, the top 2 teams in the conference, and most likely the top 2 teams in the National Football League. The 49ers have dropped off since crushing the Cowboys earlier in the month, and have lost 3 straight games. Meanwhile, the Cowboys responded from getting their shit kicked in by winning their last 2 games. And the Eagles are the Eagles. They may not always look dominant, but they get the job done. 7-1, best record in football right now. All this team does is win.

Naturally, the media is going to hype this game up. But Jerry Jones, being the scared little bitch that he is, doesn't want to "poke the bear" and say anything that could potentially be misconstrued as bulletin board material for the Eagles. Dak, however, has a different approach.

Listen. I have nothing against honey. In fact, I think it's the most underrated condiment in the game. I love all types of honey. Hot honey, creamed honey, local raw honey, clover honey, orange blossom honey. You give me a jar of honey, and I'll finish that shit with nothing but a spoon.

However, there's something a little….weird about wanting to get honey poured all over your body. I think that's the only adjective I'm allowed to use in 2023. I'm not here to judge or anything like that, but it's just one of those things that really shouldn't be said aloud. I feel something like this has happened to everyone at some point when you think a particular saying is widespread and mainstream, only to find out that nobody has ever heard that shit before and now you sound like a freak. I'm willing to give Dak some benefit of the doubt there. I don't think he coined the phrase "pour honey on me". But someone in his life set him up for failure the moment they passed that phrase down to him. Could never be my quarterback.

P.S. -- Speaking of weird behavior heading into Eagles vs Cowboys week--Micah Parsons is going to be heartbroken when he looks up in the crowd and realizes that Lincoln Financial Field remains undefeated.

There's not another stadium in professional sports more difficult to takeover than the Linc. It simply will never happen.
