Cavs Players Talking About Running Up The Score And Motivation To Beat The Knicks Tonight Is So Sad That You Can Only Laugh At Them

Come on, we're talking one of the first games of the regular season here. This isn't a revenge game. You can't get your ass kicked in the playoffs and then turn around and talk about getting revenge in the regular season. It's what people keep screaming about with this sport, the regular season doesn't matter. Trust me, I'm a Knicks fan, it doesn't work. Sure you can enjoy it for 82 games and feel good that you don't fucking stink for another year. But you can't get swept and be like this is it. October 31 is a revenge game.

Just a reminder this is what was said:

You don't come back from that even if you win by 100 tonight. It's one win in an 82 game season not the playoffs. So take all the motivation you want, it's great to say and all but it doesn't matter. Again, trust me. I tried to feel this way forever as a Knicks fan. It just doesn't matter until the playoffs.

What a world we live in where the Knicks are actually the hunted. I've felt that way maybe like 3 times as a Knicks fan and that was all in the early to mid 90s. Now we have teams trying to beat us and use motivation for it. That's a little thank you to Jalen Brunson and Leon Rose if you ask me. So time to reverse it. Need the Knicks to use the Cavs motivation to motivate themselves for a win. Rivalry reignited thanks to the playoffs between two middling teams in the Eastern Conference. That's NBA basketball baby.
