The Horror: California Man Comes To New York And Is Upset That They Won't Scoop Out His Gluten Free Bagel

If I know anything about anything, the "I'm not fucking scooping out your bagel bro" guy will be on local networks and a Sidetalk video by the end of the month. You think you can walk into a New York bagel shop and ask for your shit scooped? Not here buddy. This guy walked right into the depths of hell, considering there's nothing more terrifying than trying to order at a bagel shop in NYC for the first time. Unless you grew up here and were trained in ordering, it quite possibly is the most anxiety-inducing experience you can have for a dining experience. Took me all of a few years to get comfortable doing it without feeling like I was about to get laughed out of the store and I have the most simple order of all time.

We don't need to sit here and talk about how a vast majority of gluten free consumers are just following some stupid trend that is trying to replace centuries-old tradition. We'd be here all day. But I also can't sit here and act like I can comprehend a "scooped gluten free bagel" order. It's asinine. I don't even know how that order plays at in Los Angeles let alone a Celiac awareness convention.

My favorite part of the video is him saying "onto the next one!" while recording as if every shop isn't going to tell him virtually the same thing the first hero did. If New Yorkers want one thing, it's not trying to make things complicated or straying away from their societal norms. Good luck trying to get otherwise.
