Buccaneers Comeback Falls Just Short In Buffalo

The Buccaneers were down 24-10 in the 4th Quarter in Buffalo and nearly mounted an incredible comeback against the Bills. They had a very long drive down the field to cut the lead to 24-16 on a touchdown pass to Mike Evans.

Then they got nerdy with it and went for two!

The Bills got a first down on their next drive killing almost all of the time, but the Bucs did get the ball to around midfield for a hail mary attempt.

Contrary to this caption, Godwin's job is not to catch this ball. He's going down to block people out to free up Mike Evans, the team's biggest Receiver to jump up and get this. Unfortunately, the angle on this will show Godwin not seeing the ball, but that was simply not his role on this play.

The Bucs lose and fall to 3-4. They'll need some time to lick their wounds after losing three straight games with a sputtering offense and look to move to .500 against an upstart Texans team in Week 9.
